Kara Dimon is a psychotherapist with a background in healthcare, and an emphasis on holistic well-being. She offers individual psychotherapy sessions that help clients address challenges with personalized support. Prior to pursuing her Masters in mental health counseling, Kara worked as a hospital operations manager and a director at a digital health company specializing in women’s health. She has been deeply immersed in addressing healthcare challenges from both organizational and individual angles.
 
Kara completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University, and her Master of Education (M.Ed) in Mental Health Counseling as well as Masters degrees in Public Health (MPH) and Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University. As part of The Counseling Center team, she provides a range of counseling services to support clients at different stages of life.
 
In her therapeutic practice, Kara prioritizes creating a safe and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, emotions, and goals openly. Grounded in evidence-based modalities and informed by her holistic perspective, Kara tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
