There is no doubt that we live in a fractured and contentious world where it is more difficult to live in communion with one another.

It is exactly that interpersonal connection and closeness which allows for us to thrive.

Despite the realities of our inter-connectedness people often feel alone and overwhelmed.

We need to cultivate less judgement.

We need to notice opportunities to cultivate more understanding, bringing people together, reaching out to people we care about and people in need.

This will bind us in joyous times and support us in coping with the inevitable challenges of life.

  • Friendship values kindness, generosity, acceptance and understanding.
  • Friendship asks us to show up, listen deeply and with a wise loving heart.
  • Friendship lets us know that we matter and belong.
  • Our options in Friendship are as big as the world and as big as our imagination.
